(From Keith): I've spent a lot of time the last two days listening to the very rough mixes given to me by my studio engineer, Jon Ciorciari at JROD Productions. I went in last week with my singer, Ken Reedy, and we fixed some minor vocal and guitar issues as well as recording a song called "Black" which is a shorter acoustic take of a longer heavier song called "Blacker." Ken and I have done two songs now for the cd where Ken has been presented with the lyrics and music at the studio with no preparation, which is what I wanted. I had been playing these songs for a long time and I needed a fresh take on things. Ken sang these songs way differently in many places than I imagined and in ways I never would have come up with. The other song, "I Want To Go To The Mall With Janine," could possibly sneak up as a fan favorite. Man, things are going so well with the recording...I hope I do not jinx things!
